Florida Tryouts
Eclipse Lacrosse Club is excited to announce an expansion venture in Florida. Based out of Vero Beach and Boca Raton, Eclipse Florida will bring a national brand presence with a local team feel to top lacrosse players on the Treasure Coast and in South Florida regions. Eclipse Director Jamie Hanford has accepted a position as an Assistant Coach at The St. Edward’s School and will be the on-site Managing Director for Eclipse Florida during the Summer and Fall Club seasons. He will be assisted throughout the year by current Eclipse coaches and directors as well as new program directors and coaches for Eclipse Florida. Eclipse Connecticut was built by bringing the premier coaches and players from a wide range of towns and schools together - Eclipse Florida will follow the same plan.

Tryouts for 2026-2027 Teams TBA
Note: Eclipse Lacrosse club will be follows rules set by the National Lacrosse Federation (NLF) and US Lacrosse regarding age groups for teams 2036s to 2031s.
For the 2026-27 club year, in graduation years 2031 and younger, the NLF has chosen to implement a 15-month timeframe (June 1 birthdate through August 31 of the following year) for its age groupings. The NLF clubs are expected to continue using graduation years as the team names, but all players will fit within the 15-month groupings. This will help minimize team roster disruptions and to incentivize classmates playing together.
At the high school level, the NLF will continue to group players by graduation year to assist with the college recruiting process. High-school aged NLF players and tournament participants will be required to maintain an active USA Lacrosse membership, but they will not be required to go through the age verification process.
All players will need to be age verified to participate in NLF events.
All Tryouts will be held at New Canaan High School Turf Practice Fields (Water Tower Turf Field 1 & 2)
