The 2017 Eclipse U13 Team is comprised of multisport athletes from Darien, Fairfield, Greenwich, New Canaan, North Haven, Rowayton, and Westport, CT, as well as Bedford, NY. The team’s final roster was chosen in February after several months of rigorous evaluations, beginning last August. An Eclipse Lacrosse U13 team has qualified to compete in the World Series of Youth Lacrosse tournament in all three years of the tournaments existence and is the only Connecticut Club Lacrosse Program to every qualify of the tournament.

The team is led by coaches Jamie Hanford, Brendan Gilsenan and Mike Regan. Coach Hanford is a Darien High graduate and the current Head Coach at Greens Farms Academy who was a three-time All-American at Loyola College before playing professionally for 13 seasons. Coach Gilsenan is currently in his twelfth season as an Assistant Lacrosse Coach at the Brunswick School, serving as Defensive Coordinator for the perennially nationally ranked high school program. Coach Regan was an accomplished three-sport athlete at Christian Brothers Academy in Albany, NY and two-time All-American for Butler University’s lacrosse team. Mike was a four-time all-star during his professional NLL and MLL careers.

Eclipse Lacrosse Club is based in Fairfield County, CT and fields teams from 3rd grade through 11th Grade.  Founded in 2013, it has become one of the premier club lacrosse programs in the country.  Eclipse Lacrosse is a member of the National Lacrosse Federation (NLF), an organization committed to assembling events with the top club programs and players in the country.  The NLF has recently added six new clubs and now consists of sixteen of the leading lacrosse organizations in the country who all share the same values, professionalism, and love of the game.

Eclipse Lacrosse Club has just announced a partnership with Under Armour, who will be the official outfitter of uniforms, apparel, and footwear for players, team, camps, and coaches.
